A Witch ? If there were to be a number two in the list of the popularity of the top Halloween costumes it would be the classical image of the witch. To a great extent, this is because witches ? thanks to the Salem Witchcraft trials ? have been engrained into the consciousness of American culture and that has translated the familiar image into a top Halloween dress up costume. |
